Dueces Wild
''Dueces Wild'' is the second solo studio album by American rapper Vast Aire, one half of the duo Cannibal Ox. It was released on One Records and Gracie Productions in 2008. Critical reception Matt Rinaldi of AllMusic gave the album a favorable review, describing it as "another elevated LP for listeners who prefer their rap hard-boiled and brainy as hell." Jake Paine of ''HipHopDX'' gave the album a 3.0 out of 5, writing: "Regardless of seasoned or newcomer production personnel, ''Deuces Wild'' bares a consistency that feels as if one musical mind made it." Vast Aire
Theodore Arrington III (born February 5, 1978), better known by his stage name Vast Aire, is an American rapper from New York City. He is one half of the New York hip hop duo Cannibal Ox, which consists of him and fellow rapper Vordul Mega. He is also a member of the rap group Atoms Family. He was born in Mount Vernon, New York, then lived in Jamaica, Queens before moving to Harlem, and became acquainted with the underground rap scene, performing in many clubs while still a teenager. He was once a part of the underground hip hop group The Weathermen. Career Vast Aire's fame increased significantly as part of Cannibal Ox with Vordul Mega. ''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. It has since expanded and covers all kinds of music, including pop. Pitchfork was sold to Condé Nast in 2015, although Schreiber remained its editor-in-chief until he left the website in 2019. Vordul Mega
Shamar Gardner (born March 24, 1979), better known by his stage name Vordul Mega (a.k.a. Vordul Megallah), is an American rapper from New York. He is one half of underground hip hop duo Cannibal Ox and a member of the hip hop group Atoms Family. Career Vordul Mega's debut solo album, ''The Revolution of Yung Havoks'', was released in 2004. That same year, Vordul Mega also put out a supplemental compilation LP composed of new and rare work, some of which was not included on ''Revolution Of Yung Havoks''. This second album, titled '' Yung World'', features guest appearances by Aesop Rock, PR Terrorist (also known as Dom Pachino), Keith Masters and Billy Woods. It was released exclusively through Sandbox, an online retailer based in New York City. Peter William Nelson (born June 12, 1978), better known by his stage name Copywrite, is an underground hip hop artist from Columbus, Ohio. He is a member of MHz Legacy (formerly known as MHz). He was a member of The Weathermen. Career In 2002, Copywrite released his debut album, ''The High Exhaulted'', on Eastern Conference. Production was handled by RJD2, Intalec, Mighty Mi, Camu Tao, and Copywrite himself. Camp Lo is an American hip hop duo, formed in 1995, which hails from The Bronx, New York. The duo consists of rappers Sonny Cheeba (Salahadeen Wilds) and Geechi Suede (Saladine Wallace). The duo is perhaps best known for their 1997 hit "Luchini AKA This Is It". Career Initially signed with Profile Records, Camp Lo made their first appearance in 1996 on ''The Great White Hype'' soundtrack, with their single, "Coolie High".
