Duckmaloi Road
Duckmaloi Road (and at its western end through Oberon as Oberon Street) is a rural road in Australia linking Oberon to Jenolan Caves Road just south of Hampton. Route Oberon Street starts at the intersection with Carrington Avenue and North Street in central Oberon and heads east, changing name to Duckmaloi Road at the intersection with Tarana Road in eastern Oberon, before descending to cross Fish River Creek. It passes to the north of the village of Duckmaloi, then crosses the Duckmaloi River and ascends up and passes the Hampton State Forest which lies north of the road. It terminates at the intersection with Jenolan Caves Road 4 km (2.5 mi) south of Hampton. It is fully sealed with two lanes in each direction, with the occasional overtaking lane. Goulburn-Oberon Road
Goulburn-Oberon Road is a New South Wales country road linking Goulburn near Hume Highway to Oberon. This name is not widely known to most drivers, as the entire allocation is still best known as by the names of its constituent parts: Taralga Road and Abercrombie Road. O'Connell Road
O'Connell Road is a New South Wales rural road linking Oberon to the regional highway hub of Bathurst, where several roads including Great Western Highway, Mid-Western Highway, Mitchell Highway and Bathurst-Ilford Road join. Route It is fully sealed over its entire length and of high enough standard to accommodate B-double trucks. In conjunction with Goulburn-Oberon Road from Hume Highway to Oberon, this scenic route provides a leisurely and surprisingly direct route between Bathurst and Goulburn. Overtaking Lane
A passing lane (North American English) or overtaking lane (English outside of North America) is a lane on a multi-lane highway or motorway closest to the median of the road (the central reservation). In some countries, lanes are described as being on the 'inside' or the 'outside' of a road, and the location of the passing lanes will vary. In modern traffic planning, passing lanes on freeways are usually designed for through/express traffic, while the lanes furthest from the median of the road have entry/exit ramps. However due to routing constraints, some freeways may have ramps exiting from the passing lane; these are known as "left exits" in North America.
