Dublin Independent School District
Dublin Independent School District is a public school district based in Dublin, Texas. Located in southwestern Erath County, a small portion of the district extends into Comanche County. In 2009, the school district was rated " academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is the branch of the government of Texas responsible for public education in Texas in the United States.

Dublin (; , or ) is the capital and largest city of Ireland. On a bay at the mouth of the River Liffey, it is in the province of Leinster, bordered on the south by the Dublin Mountains, a part of the Wicklow Mountains range.
