"You Have to Be There" (Swedish: ''Du måste finnas'') is a song from the 1995 musical ''Kristina från Duvemåla'', written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, originally performed by Helen Sjöholm. The lyrics are sung by the lead character Kristina, where she doubts her faith in God after her miscarriage. The song was popular outside of its performance as part of the musical, reaching the top 10 of the Swedish-language Svensktoppen during December 1996, following its release. In later years, notable televised performances in Sweden have included a cover by Newkid, sung on the 11th season of ''Så mycket bättre'', which charted at number one in Sweden in December 2020. Helen Sjöholm
Marie Helen Sjöholm (; born 10 July 1970) is a Swedish singer, actress and musical theatre performer who lives in Gamla Enskede in Stockholm. She grew up in Sundsvall and started to sing in choirs at an early age, working, among others, with Swedish conductor Kjell Lönnå. By the end of the 1980s she toured with the group "Just for Fun". Career Her career as a performer of musical theatre began with small-scale concert presentations of ''Chess'', in which she sang the role of Florence. She took part in a number of smaller productions, including ''Little Dorrit'' in Enskede and the musical ''Elvira Madigan'' at Malmö Music Theatre in Malmö, Sweden. Göran Bror Benny Andersson (; born 16 December 1946) is a Swedish musician, singer, composer and producer best known as a member of the musical group ABBA and co-composer of the musicals ''Chess'', '' Kristina från Duvemåla'', and '' Mamma Mia!'' Jhun Alexander Ferrer, also known by his stage name Newkid (born 2 December 1990), is a Swedish–Filipino rapper signed to Sony Music Entertainment. Så mycket bättre (, "So Much Better") is a Swedish reality television show that airs on TV4 (Sweden), TV4. The basic premise is that each artist attempts to do their own version of another artist's well-known songs, with each person getting an episode featuring all of their songs being performed by the other musicians. The artists spend eight days together at a hotel in Gotland, where they attempt to put their own stamps on the songs.
