Državna Tajna (English: ''State Secret'') is a book by Semir Halilović, son of Bosnian general Sefer Halilović, published in 2005. The book has the tagline "STROGO POVJERLJIVO" (''STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL''.) He published a follow-up book, ''Državna Tajna 2: Vojska poražene ideje'' (English: ''State Secret 2: The Army of a Beaten Idea'') in 2007. About the book The book described some of the events which shaped Bosnian War, wartime Bosnia. It focuses primarily on wartime Sarajevo in 1993 and what happened within the Bosnian government and Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, army. The book talks specifically about Operations "Trebević" I, II and III. Semir was in the Bosnian war in 1992–93 and he details the battle for the mountain Igman, the killing of Mušan Topalović, Caco, the capture of Ismet Bajramović, Ćelo, the Siege of Srebrenica#Fall of Srebrenica, Fall of Srebrenica and Žepa, and the capture of Naser Orić. Naser Orić
Naser Orić (born 3 March 1967) is a Bosnian former officer who commanded Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) forces in the Srebrenica enclave in eastern Bosnia surrounded by Bosnian Serb forces, during the Bosnian War. In 2006, he was sentenced to two years imprisonment by the Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the Netherlands for failing to prevent the deaths of five Bosnian Serb detainees and the mistreatment of eleven other detainees from late 1992 to early 1993 on the basis of superior criminal responsibility. Orić was acquitted on other charges of wanton destruction and causing damage to civilian infrastructure beyond the realm of military necessity. On 3 July 2008, the Appeals Chamber of the ICTY reversed the Trial Chamber's conviction and acquitted Orić of all charges brought against him. Haris Silajdžić (; born 1 October 1945) is a Bosnian politician and academic who served as the 5th Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2006 to 2010. He was the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1993 to 1996. Silajdžić was born in Breza in 1945. He earned his master's degree and doctorate from the University of Pristina. During the Bosnian War, he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1990 to 1993, and later as Prime Minister. In the height of the war, Silajdžić was one of the most influential Bosnian officials and a close ally of the country's first president, Alija Izetbegović. The presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, Predsjedništvo Bosne i Hercegovine, separator=" / ", Предсједништво Босне и Херцеговине) is a three-member body which collectively serves as head of state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to Article V of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the presidency comprises three members: one Bosniak, one Serb, and one Croat. The Bosniak and Croat members are elected from a joint constituency in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whilst the Serb member is elected from voters in Republika Srpska. Ejup Ganić (born 3 March 1946) is a Bosnian engineer, politician and academic who served as President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1997 to 1999 and from 2000 to 2001. A former member of the Party of Democratic Action, he also served as member of the Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1990 to 1996. Rasim Delić (4 February 1949 – 16 April 2010) was the Chief of staff (military), chief of staff of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian Army. He was a career officer in the Yugoslav National Army, Yugoslav Army but left it during the breakup of Yugoslavia and was convicted of war crimes by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for failing to prevent and punish crimes committed by the Bosnian mujahideen, El Mujahid unit under his command.
