Drumcode
Drumcode Records is a Swedish techno label managed by Adam Beyer. The label was founded in 1996 and has enjoyed a streak of success in its releases, talent scouting, radio efforts, and general international label camaraderie ever since. As of August 2018 the label is the highest-selling techno record label on Beatport over the past year, according to BeatStats, and third highest-selling label on Beatport of all time. Its roots are in its native Scandinavia, originally only housing Swedish producers, but in the label's history it has since branched out to working with those whose sound fit the profile, rather than whose nationality aligns best. Sam Paganini
Sam Paganini is an Italian DJ and producer from Treviso, Veneto, Italy. His 1997 song, " Zoe", made #47 on the UK Singles Chart. He has since released many singles and EPs under his given name, including the very successful ''Body to Body'' EP on Cocoon Recordings. In 2014, Sam released his debut album, Satellite, on Drumcode Records. The album was received very well, and one of the tracks from the album, "Rave," remained in the Beatport Techno Top 10 for six months, and has remained in the Techno Top 100 for a year as of September 2015. Slam (band)
Slam are a Scottish producer/ DJ duo from Glasgow, Scotland, consisting of Stuart McMillan (born 1966, Glasgow) and Orde Meikle (born 1964, Oxford). They are co-founders of Soma Quality Recordings. Their music style consists of house and techno. History McMillan and Meikle's first club event was a weekly Thursday night called Black Market, in the Glasgow club, Fury Murrys. They played a mix of house, funk and rap. In early 1988, they were approached by Steven Sleepman (aka Steven Workman), after he heard his first acid house track on DJ Segun's late night show on Radio Clyde. During a brief stint PRing for Club Eden, Sleepman secured a Saturday night at Glasgow's Tin Pan Alley, which was to become the home of Slam. Jerome Sydenham
Jerome Sydenham (born 1967, Ibadan, Nigeria) is an electronic music producer, DJ and multi-record label owner known for establishing a pan-African electro direction within the house and techno genres. Born and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, Jerome Sydenham was schooled in his teens in England before migrating to New York City in the early 1980s to further his music interests with his family there. He is now based in Berlin, Germany running a stable of record labels including Ibadan Records as well as actively touring as a DJ and producing music. Adam Beyer
Adam Beyer (born 15 May 1976 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish techno producer and DJ. He is the founder of Drumcode Records, and is one of several Swedish techno artists to emerge in the mid-1990s, along with Cari Lekebusch and Jesper Dahlbäck. Beyer is married to fellow Swedish DJ Ida Engberg, with whom he has three daughters. He also hosts a weekly radio show called ''Drumcode Live'' which has a weekly audience of 11 million, making it the most listened to weekly techno broadcast in the world. Nicole Moudaber is a Lebanese/British event promoter, record label founder, radio personality, and DJ/ producer. She is the head of her own imprint MOOD Records and runs an award-winning weekly radio show, In The MOOD. Biography Nicole Moudaber was born in Nigeria. Jay Lumen (born March 1, 1981 in Budapest, Hungary) is the stage name of a Hungarian techno music, techno producer and Disc jockey, DJ. Ida Engberg
Ida Engberg (; born 1 July 1984) is a Swedish techno DJ and record producer. Ida began her career when she was 18. After filling in for another DJ, she got a regular night at a club. Later she went to work at the Spy Bar, one of the most famous clubs in Stockholm. This was her big break. From that time she has worked with Roger Sanchez, John Dahlbäck, Sebastian Ingrosso and Eric Prydz. She was also a DJ at the Cocktail Club, again in Stockholm. The first single she released is ''Disco Volante'' along with the Icelandic singer Björk. The song was a hit in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in the summer of 2007. Joey Beltram
Joey Beltram (born 6 September 1971) is an American DJ and music producer, best known for his pioneering singles "Energy Flash" and "Mentasm" and for remixing Human Resource (band), Human Resource's "Dominator (Human Resource song), Dominator". Rave recordings "Mentasm", co-produced with Mundo Muzique and released under the artist name Second Phase in 1991, became iconic within rave party, rave culture, as it was the track that gave birth to the "mentasm riff" (also known as the "hoover sound"): a churning, dirgelike synth pattern that wormed into techno's communal genome and has since been mutated and reused in thousands of records.
