Zbigniew Kuźmiński
Zbigniew Kuźmiński (4 November 1921 – 12 March 2005) was a Polish film director and screenwriter. He was nominated for Polish Golden Lions and has received Gdynia Film Festival's Golden Talar Award in 1987, as well as many other accolades. Kuźmiński began his career as an assistant director of the renowned Polish film directors, Jan Rybkowski and Aleksander Ford. Kuźmiński worked on '' Border Street'' (1948) with the director Aleksander Ford, picture which later won the Grand Prix at the 9th Venice Film Festival. He directed more than 25 feature films between 1950 and 1989. Franciszek Maksymilian Pieczka (18 January 1928 – 23 September 2022) was a Polish actor. A graduate of the National Higher School of Theatre in Warsaw (1954), he first made his debut in the theatre in Jelenia Góra. He won the award for Best Actor at the Polish Film Festival in 1976 for '' The Scar''. In 2015, he was awarded the Polish Academy Life Achievement Award. Jerzy Bińczycki (6 September 1937 – 2 October 1998) was a Polish stage and film actor. He appeared in 50 films between 1962 and 1998. He starred in the 1975 film ''Nights and Days'', which was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. Witold Pyrkosz (24 December 1926 – 22 April 2017) was a Polish actor. He was best known as Lucjan Mostowiak in Polish TV series "M jak miłość", as Pyzdra in " Janosik", as Wichura in "Czterej pancerni i pies", as Balcerek in "Alternatywy 4" and he was also a voice actor of Tow Mater in Polish dubbing of Pixar's Cars series. ↵His official birth certificate says that he was born on 1 January 1927 in Lwów; however, he stated that this was done purposely: the date was changed to delay his compulsory conscription for a year, while his mother registered his birthplace as Lwów because it "sounded more regal".
