Dice (rapper)
Robert Boyd (born October 17, 1970), known professionally as Dice, is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. Biography Dice began his career in 1992, signing with World One Records, who released his debut album, '' The 40 Made Me Do It'' through Raw Dogg Records. After touring with Ultramagnetic MCs, Ice Cube and Da Lench Mob, In 1993 Dice began his association with Reel Life Productions, Spring of 1993 Esham came to Dice's mother home to come meet with Dice for possible signing on his independent label which was the biggest selling independent record label out of the midwest, he did not sign a contract with the label. Following appearances on Esham's Closed Casket, Natas' '' Doubelievengod'' , Mastamind's EP ''Lickkuidrano'', and later on Esham's Dead Flowerz . Gangsta Rap
Gangsta rap or gangster rap, initially called reality rap, emerged in the mid- to late 1980s as a controversial hip-hop subgenre whose lyrics assert the culture and values typical of American street gangs and street hustlers. Many gangsta rappers flaunt associations with real street gangs, like the Crips and Bloods. On October 31, 2006, the album was reissued with a second disc, ''Evil Angelz Runnin Thru Hell''. Production After recording the album, Dice claims that Colvin took his name off the Fallen Angelz ownership papers and didn't fairly compensate him for his service, "I gave Dice $10,000 in advance and was broke 2 months later".
