It was broadcast weekdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET on Hardcore Sports Radio Sirius channel 98 with various repeat times and simulcast on The Score Television Network except on Tuesdays, beginning January 7, 2008.Hardcore Sports Radio It ended on April 9, 2009, when host left Hardcore Sports Radio. Sports radio (or sports talk radio) is a radio format devoted entirely to discussion and broadcasting of sporting events. A widespread programming genre that has a narrow audience appeal, sports radio is characterized by an often- boisterous on-air style and extensive debate and analysis by both hosts and callers. James Lampley (born April 8, 1949) is an American sportscaster, news anchor, film producer, and restaurant owner. He was best known as a blow-by-blow announcer on ''HBO World Championship Boxing'' for 30 years. He also had covered a record 14 Olympic Games on U.S. television, most recently the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Early life and career Lampley was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina. William "Bill" L. Daly III (born May 1, 1964) is an American attorney and the current deputy commissioner and chief legal officer of the National Hockey League (NHL) under Commissioner Gary Bettman. John Michael McCarthy (born October 12, 1962) is an American commentator for Bellator MMA, former mixed martial arts referee, best known for officiating numerous bouts promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), dating back to UFC 1.
