Drew Clarke
Andrew Leigh Clarke is a former senior Australian public servant who served as Secretary of several departments and as Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, before his retirement in April 2017. Since his retirement from the public service he has been appointed to the board of nbn™ and is to become chairman of the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). The Public Service Medal (PSM) is a civil decoration awarded to Australian public servants (at all levels) for outstanding service. The PSM was introduced in 1989 and replaced the Imperial awards discontinued in 1975, supplementing the Order of Australia introduced that same year. The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) performs an array of gas and electricity market, operational, development and planning functions.
