''Dress'' is a short film shot in Hawaii and directed by Henry Ian Cusick Henry Ian Cusick (born 17 April 1967) is a Peruvian-Scottish actor of television, film, and theatre and a television director. He is best known for his role as Desmond Hume in the ABC television series ''Lost'', for which he received a Primet ... who also plays the lead role of Ben Granger. The film was written by Cusick and Susan Soon He Stanton. Synopsis Ben's Hawaiian wife Maile has just died and he is struggling to cope with his own grief let alone that of his two sons. Amid a refuge of alcohol and pills, Ben finds comfort in wearing Maile's dress. Jonas, his 4-year-old son is delighted with his new “Mommy” around the house and joins in with Ben's antics, which with the arrival of a wig at the home are getting out of control. Henry Ian Cusick
Henry Ian Cusick (born 17 April 1967) is a Peruvian-Scottish actor of television, film, and theatre and a television director. He is best known for his role as Desmond Hume in the ABC television series ''Lost'', for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. He also starred as Jesus in ''The Gospel of John'', as Stephen Finch in the ABC political thriller series ''Scandal'', as Marcus Kane in The CW science fiction series ''The 100'', as Dr. Jonas Lear in ''The Passage'' on Fox, and as Russell "Russ" Taylor in the CBS action drama ''MacGyver''. Early life Cusick was born in Trujillo, Peru, to a Peruvian mother, Esperanza Chávez, and a Scottish father, Henry Joseph Cusick. Susan Soon He Stanton is an American playwright, television writer, and screenwriter. Stanton was a producer and writer for HBO's ''Succession'', for which she won Emmy, WGA, and Peabody Awards.
