Dreamscape Entertainment is a Philippine television production company and entertainment division of ABS-CBN Corporation. It is one of the media conglomerate's television production units that supplies telenovelas for the flagship television network ABS-CBN and its sister channels and online platforms. While the main ABS-CBN network is currently off the air due to the expired broadcast franchise, Dreamscape Entertainment produces telenovelas on Kapamilya Channel (main ad interim replacement network), Kapamilya Online Live (web-based channel), TV5 (blocktime agreement with MediaQuest Holdings), A2Z (blocktime agreement with ZOE Broadcasting Network, Inc.), iWantTFC and TFC (Streaming platform and international channel), as well as other cable channels including Jeepney TV and Cine Mo! distributed by ABS-CBN Entertainment. Philippine Television Drama
Philippine television drama, also known as ''teleserye'', Filipino telenovelas or P-drama, is a form of melodramatic, serialized, televised fiction in the Philippines. ''Teleserye'' is derived from two Filipino words: "tele", short for "''telebisyón''" (television) and "''sérye''" (series). ''Teleseryes'' share characteristics with and have roots similar to soap operas and ''telenovelas''. They have evolved into a genre with unique characteristics, however, and often reflect Filipino social reality. ''Teleseryes'' are aired in the afternoon and prime time, five days a week. Their audience crosses age and gender lines, and they have the highest advertising rates in the Philippine television industry. Cine Mo! (; stylized as CINEMO! and formerly known as SineBox) is a Philippine pay television channel owned and operated by ABS-CBN Corporation and ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. (content provider) and it was one of the former freemium channels of ABS-CBN TVplus since 2015. The programming consists of local films and foreign movies. Cine Mo! is being complemented with its English-language counterpart, Movie Central, which was launched on July 30, 2018 on a free-trial basis.
