Dream Street
Dream Street were an American pop music, pop boy band that was formed in 1999 by Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow. The band disbanded in 2002 following a legal dispute between parents of the band members and the band's managers. History The group was initially put together by music producers Louis Baldonieri and Brian Lukow. Originally named 'Boy Wonder' (a name borrowed from the nickname of comic book character Robin from the Batman comics and films), the band featured several boys aged 11–14 from the New York Broadway/Acting scene. Baldonieri and Lukow hoped to make an impact on the pop music industry by introducing a group of teenagers to the scene, all of whom had prior stage-singing experience. The Broadway Kids
The Broadway Kids was a concert group based in New York from 1994 to 2004. The group consisted of a rotating company of children, aged 8 to 16, who have performed in at least one Broadway, Off-Broadway or major national touring production. They performed concerts singing showtunes from various musicals, appearing at special events such as ''Broadway on Broadway,'' and have recorded five Broadway-centric CDs, one Christmas CD, and two Pop-centric CDs. The Broadway Kids have also appeared in the Off-Broadway show ''The Broadway Kids Sing Broadway,'' which has been produced in various theatres in New York and elsewhere. After releasing "Hey Mr. DJ!" in 2002, The Broadway Kids quit recording CDs. They continued to tour throughout 2004 and disbanded shortly after. The Biggest Fan
''The Biggest Fan'' is a film featuring the band Dream Street (Chris Trousdale, Jesse McCartney, Matt Ballinger, Frankie J. Galasso and Greg Raposo). The main characters are Chris Trousdale (playing himself) and his "Biggest Fan" Debbie Worden (Kaila Amariah). It was made in 2002 just before the band split because of the problems between their parents and producers; however, the film's release was postponed pending the outcome of a lawsuit between some of the band members and the band's management. Chris Trousdale is prominently featured in the film, while the other Dream Street members have cameo roles in the beginning and the end of the film. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States.
