Dražen "Žera" Žerić (born 20 July 1964) is a Bosnian singer and one of the founders and lead vocalist of famous Bosnian band, Crvena Jabuka (Red Apple). Noted for his spiky hair and a distinctive voice, he remains one of the most recognizable vocals of the entire area of Former Yugoslavia. Biography Early years Žerić was born in the city of Mostar, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia in a family of Bosniaks professors Nedžib and Šemsa. Dražen Ričl (12 March 1962 – 1 October 1986) was a Bosnian rock musician and comedian, best known as the first lead vocalist of popular Sarajevo-based rock band Crvena jabuka. Biography Ričl was born in Sarajevo to Czech father Ferdinand Ritchel and Bosniak mother Elvira Deak. He grew up in Sarajevo's Višnjik neighborhood, where he was known by the nicknames Para and Zijo. Upon finishing musical high school, he started studying journalism at the University of Sarajevo, where he met future fellow musician Branko Đurić. Dražen Petrović (; 22 October 1964 – 7 June 1993) was a Yugoslav and Croatian professional basketball player. A shooting guard, he initially achieved success playing professional basketball in Europe in the 1980s, before joining the National Basketball Association (NBA) in 1989. A star on multiple international basketball stages, Petrović earned two silver medals (1988, 1992) and one bronze (1984) at the Summer Olympic Games, a gold (1990) and a bronze (1986) at the FIBA World Cup, and a gold (1989) and a bronze (1987) at the FIBA EuroBasket. Dražen Mužinić (born 25 January 1953) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Mužinić spent most of his career in his native Yugoslavia. With Hajduk Split he won four league titles, five cups and he was capped by his country 32 times. He was named the Yugoslav Footballer of the Year in 1977. Dražen Lalić, DSc (born 15 June 1960, Makarska) is a Croatian educator and academic at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb and one of the better known sociologists in the country. Dražen Ladić (; born 1 January 1963) is a Croatian professional football coach and former player who is the current assistant manager of the Croatia national team. Playing career Club Ladić was born in Čakovec, but grew up in the nearby village of Gornji Hrašćan and started his career at NK Varteks in 1977, transferring to the club's senior squad in 1980. He left Varteks for Dinamo Zagreb in 1984, but the club decided to loan him to Iskra Bugojno for two seasons immediately after they signed him. Mirko Dražen Grmek (9 January 1924 – 6 March 2000) was a Croatian and French historian of medicine, writer and scientist. He was one of the pioneers and founders of the history of medicine.
