Dragón Bane (born 3 December 1999) is a masked Mexican professional wrestler ('' luchador enmascarado'' in Spanish). He is primarily known for working for International Wrestling Revolution Group and Pro Wrestling Noah. In Noah, he is currently one-half the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. In IWRG, Dragón Bane has won the IWRG Intercontinental Middleweight Championship once and the IWRG Rey del Aire Championship twice. Personal life Dragón Bane is the son of Fernando Cornejo Camarena, a professional wrestler known under the ring name "El Golpeador" ("Striker"). His older brother, Fernando Cornejo Soto, is also a professional wrestler, working under the ring names "El Hijo de Canis Lupus" and "Alpha Wolf". A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Lucha Libre in Mexico. History At the 1865 World's Fair, Theobaud Bauer debuted the mask, wrestling as "The Masked Wrestler" in Paris, France. He continued wrestling using the mask throughout France as part of a circus troupe in the 1860s before moving on to the United States in the early 1870s. In 1915, Mort Henderson started wrestling as the "Masked Marvel" in the New York area making him the first North American wrestler to perform with such a gimmick. International Wrestling Revolution Group (Grupo Internacional Revolución in Spanish; the Spanish name is used for the promotion while the English initials are used for the title governing body) is a Lucha Libre promotion based in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. Founded in 1996 by Adolfo Moreno and since Moreno's death in late 2007 has been controlled by his sons Alfredo and Marco Moreno. As Oficial AK-47 he is part of a group called ''Los Oficiales'' that has worked for International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) since 2007. The team held the record for the longest reigning Distrito Federal Trios Champions and are the most successful holders of the IWRG Intercontinental Trios Championship, holding it longer than any other trios team and having defended it more times than any previous champions have. The Crash Tag Team Championship (''Campeonato en Parejas de The Crash'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling tag team championship promoted by the Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico based The Crash Lucha Libre and is for two-man tag teams only. The championship was first introduced on May 8, 2015, and was the second championship created by the Crash, after The Crash Cruiserweight Championship was introduced in 2013. As it was a professional wrestling championship, the championship was not won not by actual competition, but by a scripted ending to a match determined by the bookers and match makers.
