Michael Whelan
Michael Whelan (born 29 June 1950) is an Americans, American artist of imaginative Realism (arts), realism. For more than 30 years, he worked as an illustrator, specializing in science fiction and fantasy cover art. Since the mid-1990s, he has pursued a fine art career, selling non-commissioned paintings through contemporary art gallery, galleries in the United States and through his website. The EMP Museum#Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, Science Fiction Hall of Fame inducted Whelan in June 2009, the first living artist so honored. Craig Shaw Gardner (born July 2, 1949) is an American author, best known for producing fantasy parodies similar to those of Terry Pratchett. He was also a member of the Swordsmen and Sorcerers' Guild of America (SAGA), a loose-knit group of Heroic Fantasy authors founded in the 1960s, some of whose works were anthologized in Lin Carter's ''Flashing Swords!'' anthologies. Eagle is the common name for many large Bird of prey, birds of prey of the family Accipitridae. Eagles belong to several groups of Genus, genera, some of which are closely related. Victoria Poyser
Victoria Poyser Lisi (born 1949) is an American artist who specializes in science fiction and fantasy artwork for book and magazine covers. Biography Poyser acquired a BFA from Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and went on to become a Science Fiction Fantasy Artist after having been inspired by the World Fantasy Convention in 1979. She got her start making over a hundred book and magazine covers as well as the interior art for books in the 1980s, winning her two fan art Hugo Awards in 1981 and 1982. After marrying her husband, Julius Lisi in 1987, Poyser started going by the name Victoria Lisi. She now works on collaborative children's book illustration as well as instructional painting books such as ''Vibrant Children's Portraits: Painting Beautiful Hair and Skin Tones with Oils by Victoria Poyser Lisi'' (2010). Steve Rasnic Tem (born 1950) is an American author. He was born in Jonesville, Virginia. Rasnic attended college at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and also at Virginia Commonwealth University. He earned a B.A. in English education. In 1974, he moved to Colorado and studied creative writing at Colorado State University. He married Melanie Kubachko, and the couple took the joint surname "Tem". They had four children and lived in Colorado. Rasnic Tem's short fiction has been compared to the work of Franz Kafka, Dino Buzzati, Ray Bradbury, and Raymond Carver, but to quote Joe R. Lansdale: "Steve Rasnic Tem is a school of writing unto himself." His 200 plus published pieces have garnered him a British Fantasy Award, a World Fantasy Award and a nomination for the Bram Stoker Awards. ''Dragon Lore: The Legend Begins'' is a point-and-click adventure game released in 1994 by Cryo Interactive for MS-DOS, and later ported to the 3DO video game console. The game was a commercial success, with sales of 300,000 units by 1997. An emulated version was released for Microsoft Windows and macOS in 2013. Gameplay ''Dragon Lore'' is a point and click adventure game seen from the first person perspective, with static backgrounds and a few animated objects. The inventory system and general atmosphere of the whole game feels very much like an RPG, despite the fact that character progression of any kind is almost non-existent. Ron Miller (born May 8, 1947) is an American illustrator and writer who lives and works in South Boston, Virginia. He now specializes in astronomical, astronautical and science fiction books for adults and young adults. Miller was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He holds a BFA from Columbus, Ohio, College of Art and Design. He worked as a commercial artist and designer for six years, before taking a position as art director for the National Air and Space Museum's Albert Einstein Planetarium.
