Drago Project
Drago Project ( es, Proyecto Drago) is a political party of the Canary Islands created by former Podemos secretary Alberto Rodríguez Rodríguez on 24 October 2022. The party plans to run for the regional elections in Spain in 2023. Background On 20 January 2021, the Supreme Court of Spain indicted Rodríguez for an alleged crime of attack against authority and misdemeanor or misdemeanor injury for incidents that occurred in 2014. The high court began the procedure once the Congress of Deputies accepted the request requested in December 2020. In October 2021, he was convicted of attacking authority, having to pay a fine of 540 euros in compensation for avoiding imprisonment and being disqualified from holding public office. He was disqualified as a deputy on October 22, 2021, after a few weeks of controversy between the Supreme Court and the Congress of Deputies. On October 23, he announced that he was leaving Podemos. Canarian Nationalism
Canarian nationalism is a political movement that encourages the national consciousness of the Canarian people. The term includes several ideological trends, ranging from the right to self-determination (and complete independence from Spain) to a demand for further autonomy within Spain. Self-government through history The origins of the Canarian people started with the Spanish conquest of the islands, when the local Guanche Berber population were conquered and eventually assimilated and European-style manorialism introduced in most of the islands. During the last days of the conquest, on 30 May 1481, an aboriginal leader from Gran Canaria called Tenesor Semidán (afterwards baptized as Fernando Guanarteme) signed a peace treaty with Fernando II of Aragon, in the so-called Carta de Calatayud. This treaty defined the archipelago as a kingdom within the Spanish monarchy, establishing the legal framework for its administration and its relationship with Spain. The pact signed in C ...

Más País
Más País, or More Country, is a political party in Spain. It was an electoral platform formed by Íñigo Errejón around Más Madrid in order to contest the November 2019 Spanish general election. The party is positioned on the left-wing of the political spectrum, and it promotes anti-globalisation, green politics, progressivism, women's and sexual minority rights and direct democracy. History The platform was announced on 22 September 2019 and was formally launched on 25 September, out of a desire of preventing dissatisfaction from centre-left voters over the failure in the government formation process between the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and Unidas Podemos to translate into a higher abstention rate. During the party's presentation, Errejón announced that it would avoid running in the smaller constituencies, where they would be unlikely to win any seat but could contribute to other left-of-centre parties—mainly PSOE and UP—losing out their own seats due to ...

Socialist Parties In Spain
Socialism is a left-wing economic philosophy and movement encompassing a range of economic systems characterized by the dominance of social ownership of the means of production as opposed to private ownership. As a term, it describes the economic, political and social theories and movements associated with the implementation of such systems. Social ownership can be state/public, community, collective, cooperative, or employee. While no single definition encapsulates the many types of socialism, social ownership is the one common element. Different types of socialism vary based on the role of markets and planning in resource allocation, on the structure of management in organizations, and from below or from above approaches, with some socialists favouring a party, state, or technocratic-driven approach. Socialists disagree on whether government, particularly existing government, is the correct vehicle for change. Socialist systems are divided into non-market and market form ...

Nationalist Parties In Spain
Nationalism is an idea and movement that holds that the nation should be congruent with the state. As a movement, nationalism tends to promote the interests of a particular nation (as in a group of people), Smith, Anthony. ''Nationalism: Theory, Ideology, History''. Polity, 2010. pp. 9, 25–30; especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining the nation's sovereignty (self-governance) over its homeland to create a nation-state. Nationalism holds that each nation should govern itself, free from outside interference (self-determination), that a nation is a natural and ideal basis for a polity, and that the nation is the only rightful source of political power. It further aims to build and maintain a single national identity, based on a combination of shared social characteristics such as culture, ethnicity, geographic location, language, politics (or the government), religion, traditions and belief in a shared singular history, and to promote national unity or solidarity. ...

Political Parties In The Canary Islands
Politics (from , ) is the set of activities that are associated with making decisions in groups, or other forms of power relations among individuals, such as the distribution of resources or status. The branch of social science that studies politics and government is referred to as political science. It may be used positively in the context of a "political solution" which is compromising and nonviolent, or descriptively as "the art or science of government", but also often carries a negative connotation.. The concept has been defined in various ways, and different approaches have fundamentally differing views on whether it should be used extensively or limitedly, empirically or normatively, and on whether conflict or co-operation is more essential to it. A variety of methods are deployed in politics, which include promoting one's own political views among people, negotiation with other political subjects, making laws, and exercising internal and external force, including w ...

Arrow Blue Right 001
An arrow is a fin-stabilized projectile launched by a bow. A typical arrow usually consists of a long, stiff, straight shaft with a weighty (and usually sharp and pointed) arrowhead attached to the front end, multiple fin-like stabilizers called fletchings mounted near the rear, and a slot at the rear end called a nock for engaging the bowstring. A container or bag carrying additional arrows for convenient reloading is called a quiver. The use of bows and arrows by humans predates recorded history and is common to most cultures. A craftsman who makes arrows is a fletcher, and one that makes arrowheads is an arrowsmith.Paterson ''Encyclopaedia of Archery'' p. 56 History The oldest evidence of likely arrowheads, dating to c. 64,000 years ago, were found in Sibudu Cave, current South Africa.Backwell L, d'Errico F, Wadley L.(2008). Middle Stone Age bone tools from the Howiesons Poort layers, Sibudu Cave, South Africa. Journal of Archaeological Science, 35:1566–1580. Backwel ...

Greens Equo
Greens Equo (and formerly Q or eQuo) is a Spanish political party founded on 4 June 2011, when 35 Spanish green parties agreed to merge into Equo. The first election it contested was the 2011 Spanish general election, obtaining 216,748 votes (0.9%), making it the 9th most supported party. The party was fifth in Madrid, achieving representation thanks to the Valencian coalition Compromís-Q, in which Equo participated. In the run up to the November 2019 Spanish general election, Equo withdrew from Unidas Podemos and agreed an electoral fusion with Más País. Disagreeing with this decision and willing t ...
