Dragan Aleksić (basketball)
Dragan Aleksić ( sr-cyr, Драган Алексић; born 1 May 1970), also credited as Dragan Alekszics in Hungary, is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He currently serves as the head coach for PVSK-Veolia of the Hungarian League. Playing career Aleksić started his professional career in Belgrade-based team Crvena zvezda. In 1991, he joined Spartak Subotica. In 1998, he joined Radnički Belgrade for the 1998–99 season. Aleksić played the 1999–2000 season in Israel, for Haifa. After the season in Israel, Aleksić had stints in Slovakia ( Slovakofarma Pezinok) and Russia ( Lokomotiv Mineralnye Vody). In 2001, Aleksić joined Tuzla-based Sloboda Dita of the ABA League and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Championship. On December 12, 2001, he set his ABA League career-high in points when he scored 41 points in a 92–86 road win over Zadar. He also recorded 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 7 steals. Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A (men's Basketball)
The Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A (, commonly abbreviated NB I/A) is Hungarian basketball league system, the highest level Sports league, league of club men's basketball in Hungary. Format The league comprises 14 teams. A NB I/A season is split into a league stage and a playoff/playout stage. At the end of the league stage (14 teams) the top 5 teams play another league stage, another 5 play with each other, and then the top 8 teams qualify for the playoff stage. The playoffs are played in "Playoff format#Best-of-five playoff, Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are the champions of that season. The two bottom teams play with each other in "Playoff format#Best-of-three playoff, Best of three" format. The losing team gets relegated. The Liga Națională de Baschet Masculin (LNBM) () is the top-tier professional basketball league of Romania. The winner of the league each season is crowned the Romanian national champion. Founded in 1950, the league consists of 24 teams playing in three different divisions.
