Draci Šumperk
DRACI PARS ŠUMPERK is an ice hockey team in Šumperk, Czech Republic. They played in the Czech 1.liga, the second level of ice hockey in the Czech Republic until the 2015-2016 season. They were relegated to 2.liga for the 2016-2017 season. The club was founded in 1942. The team was promoted back to the Czech 1. liga for the 2020-2021 season where they played for the next 3 seasons (2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023) before getting relegated once again to the 2. liga at the end of the 2022-2023 season. Šumperk
Šumperk (; german: Mährisch Schönberg) is a town in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 26,000 inhabitants. It is the centre of the north of Moravia and, due to its location, is known as "The Gate to the Jeseníky mountains." Etymology The original German name is a compound of an adjective "schön" (meaning "beautiful") and a noun "berg" (meaning "hill"), later supplemented by a distinguishing adjective ''Mährisch'' (= Moravian). The 2nd Czech Republic Hockey League (or Czech 2.liga) is the third-level ice hockey league in the Czech Republic under the 1st Czech Republic Hockey League. It began in 1993. Šumperk District ( cs, okres Šumperk) is a district ('' okres'') within the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic Its administrative centre is the town of Šumperk.
