''Dr Gonzo'' is the second studio album by Crookers, which was released on through Southern Fried Records. It features many collaborations, pre-eminently with Carli, Savage Skulls and Marcus Price. Track listing Notes The instrumental version of "Hummus" was the one featured on the Cream Club Anthems 2012 CD and did not feature the vocals from Hudson Mohawke and Carli. In "Hummus" the word "Dr. Gonzo" is mentioned towards the end of the song and is shortly followed by the word "Again". Crookers
Crookers is the musical project of Italian DJ and producer Francesco "Phra" Barbaglia. Crookers was originally a duo consisting of Phra and fellow producer Bot, who worked together from 2003 to 2012. When the two artists met, both were trying to branch out of their genre and explore dance music. Their first collaboration worked. Phra said, "It felt natural to team up, seeing that we had the same musical tastes... which isn't that easy here in Milan." On October 19, 2012, it was announced that Bot had left the group to pursue a new direction and that Phra would carry on the Crookers name as a solo project. Since then, Phra has produced the song "Ghetto Guetta" under the Crookers alias; the song was published on Phra's own label Ciao Recs under licence to the Be Yourself Catalog as well as Owsla. Electro house is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by heavy bass and a tempo around 130 beats per minute. The term has been used to describe the music of many ''DJ Mag'' Top 100 DJs, including Benny Benassi, Skrillex, Steve Aoki & Deadmau5. ''Southern Fried'' is a studio album by American country singer-songwriter Bill Anderson and his band "The Po' Folks". It was released in 1983 on Southern Tracks Records. It was co-produced by Anderson and Mike Johnson. The album marked Anderson's first release on an independent record label after previously recording for MCA Records for many years. Mad Decent is an American record label founded by Diplo. The label has helped introduce Brazilian baile funk and Angolan kuduro to clubs around the world. Cream is a nightclub that originally began as a weekly house music night at the now-demolished Nation nightclub in Liverpool. It ran in this format from October 1992 to June 2002. Cream also hosts the dance music festival Creamfields every August in Daresbury, Cheshire.
