Dr. Phibes Rises Again
''Dr. Phibes Rises Again'' is a 1972 British horror-dark comedy film, produced by Louis M. Heyward, directed by Robert Fuest, that stars Vincent Price and Robert Quarry. The film is a sequel to ''The Abominable Dr. Phibes'' (1971). After seeking vengeance on the doctors whom he blamed for his wife's death in the first film, Phibes returns to seek eternal life in Egypt, while he pursues a centuries-old man who holds the ancient secrets that Phibes needs. Plot Three years after the events the previous film, Dr. Anton Phibes emerges from suspended animation when the Moon enters into an alignment with the planets which last occurred 2,000 years ago. Robert Fuest
Robert Fuest (30 September 1927 – 21 March 2012) was an English film director, screenwriter, and production designer who worked mostly in the horror, fantasy and suspense genres. Biography Born in London, Fuest served his national service in post-war Germany with the Royal Air Force, air-lifting coal over the Berlin Wall, after which he attended Wimbledon and Hornsey Schools of Art. For a period, he lectured at Southampton College of Art. Fuest also spent time as a drummer in a warm-up band for Chris Barber and George Melly. In the early sixties, he designed sets for television programmes such as ''ITV Play of the Week'' and ''Armchair Theatre''. It was whilst working on the first season of '' The Avengers'' for director Peter Hammond that Fuest developed an enthusiasm for directing. Keith Buckley (7 April 1941 – 1 December 2020) was an English actor who mostly appeared on television and films from 1958. Career Keith Buckley was born in April 1941 in Huddersfield, West Riding of Yorkshire and performed in school plays at Huddersfield College.
