Dr. C.V. Raman University, Khandwa is a Private university (India), private university located at the village Balkhandsura, near the Khandwa-Indore road, in Khandwa district, Madhya Pradesh, India. The university was established in 2018 by the All India Society for Electronics & Computer Technology (AISECT) under the ''Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalay (Sthapana Evam Sanchalan) Sanshodhan Adhiniyam, 2018'', an Act which also established Shri Krishna University and Sardar Patel University Balaghat. The university offers various diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in seven faculties. It is named after India physicist C. V. Raman. Santosh Choubey
Santosh Choubey is an Indian social entrepreneur and educationalist. He founded the All India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT) in 1985. He is chairman of AISECT and chancellor of the Rabindranath Tagore University along with being involved in various literary and cultural activities to promote Indian Hindi literature and art. Early life and education Born in 1955 in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, Santosh Choubey did his schooling from Government School Khandwa and completed his education with a bachelor's degree in electronics and telecommunication Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (NIT, Bhopal). University Grants Commission (UGC; ISO: ''Viś‍vavidyālaya Anudāna Āyōga'') is a statutory body under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. It was set up in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India. It provides recognition to universities in India, and disbursements of funds to such recognized universities and colleges.
