Douthyam
''Douthyam'' () is a 1989 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by P. Anil and written by Gayathri Ashokan. The film stars Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Parvathy, and Babu Antony. The film attracted media attention for the action subject as the script was done by the poster designer Gayathri Ashokan. Plot An army aircraft crashes in a dense forest. Captain Roy Jacob, starts his mission to rescue his colleagues from the dense forest, but he had to fight against a terrorist group hiding in the forest, moreover has to recover some confidential documents as well. Gayathri Ashokan
Gayathri Ashokan is an Indian poster designer and screenwriter who works in Malayalam cinema. He is considered as a pioneer in poster designing art along with P. N. Menon (director), P. N. Menon in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam film industry. His debut design was for director Padmarajan' s ''Koodevide'' where he created a poster with all characters appearing in postage stamp. The posters created a very good impact among filmgoers. He has designed promotional posters for over 700 films including Cinema of Tamil Nadu, Tamil films. Ashokan introduced the airbrush concept in Malayalam posters. Career Ashokan started off his career as a designer for books and magazines based at Kottayam and he later started doing posters in the name of the studio he worked. ''Adavilo Abhimanyudu'' () is a 1989 Telugu-language adventure-thriller film, produced by S. Venkataratnam and directed by Anil. It stars Jagapathi Babu, Vinod Kumar and Aishwarya (in her acting debut), with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film is a remake of the 1989 Malayalam film ''Douthyam''. Sreenath
Sreenath (26 August 1956 – 23 April 2010) was an Indian film and television actor. He has acted in many Malayalam films, including ''Shalini Ente Koottukari'', ''Ithu Njangalude Katha'', ''Oru CBI Diary Kurippu'', and '' Kireedam''. Prathapachandran (1941–2004) was an Indian actor, who worked predominantly in Malayalam film, Malayalam film industry, though he acted in a few Tamil and Telugu movies as well. He known for the portrayal of villainous and character roles in over 300 movies.
