Douglas Crise is an American film editor. Biography Douglas Crise was born May 1, 1961 to Glenn Crise, a retired mail carrier, and Catherine, a homemaker. The middle child of the family, Crise grew up in Smithton, Pennsylvania. In 1979, Crise graduated from Yough High School and soon began to work as a meat cutter at Shop 'n Save in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. Crise graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in film studies and moved to Los Angeles to find work in the film industry, working for a little while as a movie lot truck driver. After a short stay in Los Angeles, Crise returned to Pittsburgh for a year before returning to California to work as a film editor. Smithton is a borough in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 399 at the 2010 census. As of 2018, the population was listed at 378. Smithton has its own post office, with zip code 15479, and is serviced by Yough School District. is a Japanese filmmaker. Life and career Shūsuke Kaneko was born in Tokyo on June 8, 1955. According to the biography on his official website Kaneko was interested in science fiction, particularly Godzilla and Gamera films, from a young age. He became involved in amateur film making in his teen years, but majored in education when he attended Tokyo Gakugei University. After graduation, he found a job at the major Japanese movie studio Nikkatsu. By 1982 he was a screenwriter and assistant director for Nikkatsu's ''Roman Porno'' film series. He made his debut as a director with Nikkatsu in February 1984 with ''Kōichirō Uno's Wet and Swinging'', part of a long-running Nikkatsu series based on the works of erotic novelist Kōichirō Uno. Brian Yuzna is an American producer, director, and writer. He is best known for his work in the science fiction and horror film genres. Yuzna began his career as a producer for several films by director Stuart Gordon, such as ''Re-Animator'' (1985) and '' From Beyond'' (1986), before making his directorial debut with the satirical body horror film ''Society'' (1989). He also served as a co-writer for the comedy ''Honey, I Shrunk the Kids'' (1989).
