Dougie Brown
Douglas Robert Brown (born 29 October 1969) is a Scottish former cricketer and former head coach of the United Arab Emirates national team. Brown represented the Scottish national team as an all-rounder at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International level, having earlier played One Day International cricket for England in 1997 and 1998. He played English county cricket for Warwickshire. Playing career As a youngster Brown attended Alloa Academy, represented Clackmannan County Cricket Club and played football at under-18 level for Scotland, and played for Feltham Rugby Football club as a competent fullback, choosing to focus on cricket shortly afterwards. He first came to the attention of Warwickshire County Cricket Club in 1992 whilst playing for Scotland, he signed for the county and made his debut in the same year. Warwickshire County Cricket Club
Warwickshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Warwickshire. Its T20 team is called the Birmingham Bears. Founded in 1882, the club held minor status until it was elevated to first-class in 1894 pending its entry into the County Championship in 1895. Clackmannan County Cricket Club
Clackmannan ( ; gd, Clach Mhanainn, perhaps meaning "Stone of Manau"), is a small town and civil parish set in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. Philo Wallace
Philo Alphonso Wallace (born 2 August 1970) is a Barbados, Barbadian cricketer who played for the West Indian cricket team, West Indies. Having first attempted to get into cricket in 1990, he made the big time in 1997–98 after hitting 198 runs in two Test cricket, Test matches. He formed an opening partnership with Guyanese batsman Clayton Lambert that for a brief period was hailed as a possible successor to the legendary Greenidge/Haynes partnership that dominated the 1980s. It was not to be, though, and by the end of the West Indies' ill-fated tour to South Africa in late 1998, both Wallace and Lambert had been discarded from future selection. ICC Champions Trophy
The ICC Champions Trophy is a One-Day International (ODI) cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council. The 2013 tournament was intended to be the final edition of the Champions Trophy, but it was extended to 2017 due to its widespread popularity. In 2018, the ICC decided to replace the tournament with the World Twenty20 championship to be held every two years, and no Champions Trophy was contested in 2021. The 1995 NatWest Trophy was the 15th NatWest Trophy. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 27 June and 2 September 1995. The tournament was won by Warwickshire County Cricket Club who defeated Northamptonshire County Cricket Club by 4 wickets in the final at Lord's. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket.
