Dougie Arnott
Douglas Arnott (born 5 August 1964 in Lanark) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a striker. Arnott's career began at Pollok at the Scottish Junior level, before spending his entire senior football career at Motherwell, spending twelve seasons with the Fir Park club before retiring due to an injury in 1998. In 1990–91, Arnott was part of Motherwell's Scottish Cup-winning side, which was his only senior honour. On 11 September 2008, Arnott's belated testimonial match went ahead against an Old Firm select. Other players lined up for Arnott's side included former goalkeeper Sieb Dijkstra and defenders Chris McCart and Fraser Wishart, while the Old Firm team included Ally McCoist and Gordon Durie. The Old Firm side won 5–4, in a game which saw Arnott score the first of the match, and Ally McCoist net a hat-trick. Lanark
Lanark (; gd, Lannraig ; sco, Lanrik) is a town in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, located 20 kilometres to the south-east of Hamilton. The town lies on the River Clyde, at its confluence with Mouse Water. In 2016, the town had a population of 9,050. Lanark has been a royal burgh since 1140, and was historically the county town of Lanarkshire, though in modern times this title belongs to Hamilton. Chris McCart
Christopher McCart (born 17 April 1967 in Baillieston) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a defender. Playing career McCart started his career at Motherwell where he was voted player of the year in 1991. McCart spent the next twelve seasons with the Fir Park before a short spell with Falkirk. In 1990–91, McCart was part of Motherwell's Scottish Cup-winning side, while also winning the Scottish Challenge Cup with Falkirk in 1997–98. Coaching career After retiring from playing, McCart held a youth coaching role at former club Motherwell before joining Celtic as head of youth development in June 2008 following the death of Tommy Burns. Carluke (; gd, Cathair MoLuaig) is a town that lies in the heart of the Lanarkshire countryside in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, northwest of Lanark and southeast of Wishaw. Gordon Scott Durie (born on 6 December, 1965 in Paisley) is the Scottish former professional footballer, a utility player who usually played as a striker. He played for East Fife, Hibernian, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Rangers and Hearts. He was also capped 43 times by Scotland. After retiring as a player in 2001, in 2010, he became a coach and manager, working for East Fife and Rangers as an assistant. Ally McCoist
Alistair Murdoch McCoist, (; born 24 September 1962) is a Scottish former footballer who has since worked as a manager and TV pundit. McCoist began his playing career with Scottish club St Johnstone before moving to English side Sunderland in 1981. He returned to Scotland two years later and signed with Rangers.
