John Gallaudet
John Beury Gallaudet (August 23, 1903 – November 5, 1983) was an American film and television actor. Career Gallaudet was born in Philadelphia and attended Williams College. His Broadway credits included ''Good Men and True'' (1935), ''Lost Horizons'' (1934), ''Here Goes the Bride'' (1931), ''The Gang's All Here'' (1931), ''On the Spot'' (1930), ''Don Q., Jr.'' (1926), and ''When You Smile'' (1925). In the 1959 TV Western ''Bat Masterson'', he played General Sherman, whose life was in danger post Civil War while visiting Dodge City forcing Bat to act as his Secret Service escort in town. Gallaudet also appeared in episodes of ''Perry Mason''. Personal life He was married to Constance Helen Gallaudet. On November 5, 1983, Gallaudet died in Los Angeles at age 80. Robert Shayne (born Robert Shaen Dawe, October 4, 1900 – November 29, 1992) was an American actor whose career lasted for over 60 years. He was best known for portraying Inspector Bill Henderson in the American television series '' Adventures of Superman.'' Early years Shayne was born in Yonkers, New York. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grosvenor Dawe, and he had a brother, Allen Shaen Dawe. His father was one of the founders of the United States Chamber of Commerce. Shayne left Boston University in his senior year so that his brother could go to college. For a time, he lived in Birmingham, Alabama, writing advertising copy for a women's clothing store by day and acting in a stock theater company at night. When the store went out of business, he began acting full-time. Career Shayne became an actor after having worked as a reporter at the ''Illustrated Daily Tab'' in Miami, Florida. Rudy Robles (born Pastor Lluviosa Robles, 29 April 1910 – 11 August 1970) was a Filipino film and television actor. He was one of the first Filipino actors to appear in Hollywood movies. Career Robles was born in Tacloban, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines, where he began his schooling before emigrating to the United States. He completed high school and college in California, where he excelled in debating and acting.
