Dotter (singer)
Johanna Maria Jansson (born 10 June 1987), better known by her stage name Dotter, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She finished second in Melodifestivalen 2020 with her song "Bulletproof", one point behind The Mamas. In Melodifestivalen 2021, where she competed with the song " Little Tot", she placed fourth with 105 points. Career Dotter was born on 10 June 1987 in Arvika. She later moved to Stockholm and studied at the Kulturama music school. She chose the stage name "Dotter" (English: ''daughter'') because she considers herself a "daughter of Mother Earth" due to her vegan lifestyle. She cites her major musical influences as Jefferson Airplane, Joni Mitchell, First Aid Kit, and Florence and the Machine. Arvika
Arvika is a locality and the seat of Arvika Municipality, Värmland County, Sweden with 14,244 inhabitants in 2010. Geography The town of Arvika is situated at Kyrkviken, a bay of Glafsfjorden, Sweden's only inland fjord, a remnant of the time following the last ice age (once a fjord of the Ancylus Lake). Anton Kim Ewald (born August 7, 1993) is a Swedish singer and dancer. He has participated in Melodifestivalen several times as both a background dancer and singer. Career Ewald began his career as a background dancer at Melodifestivalen. In Melodifestivalen 2009, he danced behind Velvet when she competed in the third semi-final in Leksand with " The Queen". ''Aftonbladet'' (, lit. "The evening paper") is a Swedish daily newspaper published in Stockholm, Sweden. It is one of the largest daily newspapers in the Nordic countries. "Move" is a gospel-pop song by Swedish music group the Mamas. The song was performed for the first time in Melodifestivalen 2020, where it made it to the final. The song won Melodifestivalen with 137 points and was to represent Sweden in the first semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, before the contest was cancelled in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw (; born 13 June 1986) is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and television presenter. He took part in ''Idol 2005'', eventually finishing fifth, won the first season of '' Let's Dance,'' and scored a hit with his 2007 song " Cara Mia", which was his entry in that year's Melodifestivalen. Zelmerlöw was the host of ''Allsång på Skansen'' from 2011 to 2013. He participated in Melodifestivalen in 2007, 2009 and won in 2015. Melodifestivalen 2019 was the 59th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen and was held between 2 February 2019 and 9 March 2019. Presenters were Sarah Dawn Finer, Kodjo Akolor, Marika Carlsson and Eric Saade. Edward af Sillén returned as a consultant and adviser, producing various interval acts for the hosts. Lina Maria Hedlund (born 28 March 1978) is a Swedish singer and member of the pop group Alcazar (band), Alcazar. She also has a solo career. Career Hedlund was born in Bollnäs. Melodifestivalen 2018
Melodifestivalen 2018 was the 58th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 3 February and 10 March 2018. The format of the competition consists of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final. An initial 28 entries were selected for the competition through three methods: an open call for song submissions, direct invitations to specific artists and songwriters and a wildcard given to one of the artists that participated in the ''Svensktoppen nästa'' competition organised by Sveriges Radio P4. The 28 competing entries were divided into four heats, with seven compositions in each.
