Dossa Júnior
Dossa Momad Omar Hassamo Júnior ( el, Ντόσσα Τζούνιορ; born 28 July 1986), known as Dossa Júnior, is a former professional footballer who played as a central defender. He spent the better part of his 15-year senior career in the Cypriot First Division, mainly with AEL Limassol. He also competed in Portugal (where he was born), Poland and Turkey. Júnior won 24 caps for Cyprus, making his debut in 2012. Club career Júnior was born in Lisbon, of Mozambican descent. He only played with Imortal D.C. in Portugal, spending the 2005–06 season in the third tier. Subsequently, the 20-year-old moved to Cyprus, joining Digenis Akritas Morphou FC in the First Division and suffering relegation. Júnior remained in that nation afterwards, with AEP Paphos FC. The Cypriot Cup () is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship. The 2018–19 Cypriot Cup was the 77th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 24 clubs were accepted to enter the competition. It began on 5 December 2018 with the first round and concluded on 22 May 2019 with the final held at GSP Stadium. A header is a technique that is used in association football to control the ball using the head to pass, shoot or clear. This can be done by standing, jumping or diving position. Header is a common technique and is used by players in almost every match. In general, a forward uses a header to score a goal, while a defender usually uses a header to prevent the scoring of a goal by the opponent. A header is often the best option when the ball is in air, because of the rule that a player can’t make contact with the ball using their hands. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. In the 2022–23 season, nineteen clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted from, and relegated to the 1. Lig. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. The 2013–14 Ekstraklasa (named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa for sponsorship reasons) was the 88th season of the Polish Football Championship, the 80th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 6th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. The league was operated by the Ekstraklasa SA. A total of 16 teams were participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2012–13 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I liga. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. The 2011–12 Cypriot First Division was the 73rd season of the Cypriot top-level football league. It began on 27 August 2011 and ended on 12 May 2012. APOEL were the defending champions. AEL Limassol won the championship one matchweek before the end of the season. The league comprise eleven teams from the 2010–11 season and three promoted teams from the 2010–11 Second Division. Teams Doxa Katokopias and APOP Kinyras were relegated at the end of the first stage of the 2010–11 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table.
