Joe Morris Doss
Joe Morris Doss (born March 29, 1943) served as the 10th bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey from 1995 to 2001. He was elected bishop coadjutor in June 1993 and became bishop diocesan in 1995 following the retirement of G. P. Mellick Belshaw. Biography Doss was born in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from Louisiana State University and General Theological Seminary; he also holds a J.D. from LSU. Prior to his election as bishop coadjutor, he was rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Palo Alto, California since 1985, having held the same position at Grace Episcopal Church, New Orleans, Louisiana from 1973 to 1985 after being deacon-in-charge of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Tandon Mic Doss (born September 22, 1989) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football for the Indiana University Hoosiers. He graduated in the class of 2008 from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Doss was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Nannie Doss (born Nancy Hazel; November 4, 1905 – June 2, 1965) was an American serial killer responsible for the deaths of 11 people between some time in the 1920s and 1954. Doss was also referred to as the Giggling Granny, the Lonely Hearts Killer, the Black Widow, and Lady Blue Beard. Doss finally confessed to the murders in October 1954, after her fifth husband had died in a small hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lorenzo Doss (born April 22, 1994) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Tulane before being drafted by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was the first African-American player in Saint Mary's College of California, Saint Mary's College history and their first to be named West Coast Conference West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year, player of the year. Doss was an All-City Power forward (basketball), power forward at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco.
