Bogoljub Mitić Đoša
Bogoljub Mitić ( sr-cyr, Богољуб Митић Ђоша, 12 January 1968 – 22 June 2017) professionally known as Đoša, was a Serbian actor and comedian, best known for his role as Bata Đoša from the Serbian television show Porodično blago which earned him the nickname. Early life He was born in Vlasotince, where he lived until he moved to Belgrade. In Vlasotince he was nicknamed Boge Miza. Career During his career, which spanned almost three decades, he had done work for theatre and television, but the role that outshined the rest of his profession was the role as Bata Đoša in the 1998 cult TV series "Porodično blago". Mitić also gained notoriety for being a contestant in Tvoje lice zvuči poznato (Serbian season 3), the third season of the Serbian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar. Christina Kim (born 1957) is a South Korean-born fashion designer based in Los Angeles, California, United States, and founder of design house Dosa. Early life and career Kim was born in South Korea, and came to the United States with her family in 1971, at the age of 15. She would go on to work in the import/export industry beginning in the mid-1980s. Dosa employed 30 people as of 2007, with a workspace in Los Angeles, as well as a store in New York City. A dosa, also called dosai, dosey, or dosha, is a thin pancake in South Indian cuisine made from a fermented batter of ground black lentils and rice. Dosas are popular in South Asia as well as around the world. Dosas are served hot, often with chutney and sambar. History Dosas originated in South India, but its precise geographical origins are unknown. According to historian P. Thankappan Nair, dosa originated in the town of Udupi in present-day Karnataka. However, according to food historian K. T. Achaya, references in the Sangam literature suggest that dosa was already in use in the ancient Tamil country around the 1st century. Achaya states that the earliest written mention of dosa appears in literature of present-day Tamil Nadu, in the 8th century, while the earliest mention of dosa in the Kannada literature appears a century later. Dhosa is a village, a gram panchayat and an archaeological site within the jurisdiction of the Jaynagar police station in the Jaynagar I CD block in the Baruipur subdivision of the South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. History According to the District Census Handbook, this archeological site is located beside the Piyali river. The artefacts found at this place included “fine terracotta pottery, seals, plaques, jewellery of precious and semi-precious stones, figurines, ceramic earthen wares etc.” According to Sharmi Chakraborty, Centre for Archaeological Studies and Training, Eastern India, the site was excavated by the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums. The Dominic Old Scholars Association Football Club is an Australian Rules Football team currently based in Hobart, Tasmania. It is a member of the Old Scholars Football Association. Club history Founded The club was founded as an old scholars team from the Dominic College in Glenorchy, Tasmania in 1976 where it commenced fielding a side in the Thirds competition before fielding a full senior side in 1978. DOSA, nicknamed the Roosters, were a member of the Tasmanian Amateur Football League (Southern Amateurs) from 1976-1980. When the TAFL Old Scholars Division was formed in the Southern Amateurs in 1981 they continued on in that division until 1986 collecting premiership victories in 1984 and 1986.
