Andy Dorris
Andy Dorris (born August 11, 1951) is a retired American professional football player. He was born in Bellaire, Ohio and attended college at New Mexico State University. Dorris played in the National Football League for 10 seasons. He spent most of his professional career with the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Oilers. Dorris is currently a sales representative for Forterra in Houston, Texas. Professional career The Cleveland Browns drafted Andy Dorris with the 93rd pick in the 1973 NFL Draft. He initially signed a three-year contract with the team. Before the season began, Cleveland traded Dorris to the St. Louis Cardinals. He played in four games for St. Louis in his first season as a professional. In October 1973, St. Louis traded Dorris to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for a draft choice. Danielle Dorris (born September 22, 2002) is a Canadian Paralympic swimmer. She won a silver medal in the S7 100m backstroke at the 2020 Summer Paralympics The , branded as the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, was an international multi-sport parasports event held from 24 August to 5 September 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. Derek Russell Dorris (born December 1, 1978) is an American former football wide receiver who played in the National Football League for the New York Giants for six games in 2002. He played college football at Texas Tech. High school career Dorris attended Azle High School in Azle, Texas, where he and his brother Devon were the starting safeties on the football team in 1994. After his older brother's graduation, Derek grew into a top college recruit. As a senior, he played five positions: running back, wide receiver, kicker, kick returner and defensive back. On offense, he rushed for 1,030 yards and 11 touchdowns, caught 38 passes for 640 yards and five touchdowns, and scored 129 points. George Dorris (born August 3, 1930) is an American dance historian, educator, editor, and writer. As managing editor of ''Dance Chronicle'' for thirty years, he laid foundations and established standards for dance scholarship not only in the United States but in many other countries of the world. In 2007, he was honored with a lifetime membership in the Society of Dance History Scholars and by the award for Outstanding Service to Dance Research presented by the Congress on Research in Dance.
