''Doro Theou'' (Greek: ''Δώρο Θεού''; English: ''God's Gift'') is the tenth studio album by Greek artist, Katy Garbi. It was released on 23 June 1999 by Sony Music Greece and certified gold in a month, but after months received platinum certification, selling over 80,000 units*. Katerina "Katy" Garbi ( el, Κατερίνα "Καίτη" Γαρμπή, ; born 8 June 1961) is a Greek singer active in Greece and Cyprus, with some popularity in Turkey. Her career has spanned over 35 years with over 2 million records sold in Greece and abroad. Garbi's discography is marked by several multi-platinum releases, including '' Arhizo Polemo'' (1996) and '' Evaisthisies'' (1997), two of the best-selling albums of the decade. Giorgos Theofanous
Giorgos (George) Theofanous (, ) (born in Larnaca, Cyprus on 9 January 1968) is a Greek Cypriot composer and producer. He has sold more than two million records and written more than 500 songs in the 1990s and 2000s. Recording artists for whom he has written and produced for include Nana Mouskouri, George Dalaras. His work has received a total of nine Arion Awards, which was an award show by IFPI Greece. He served as a judge on five seasons of the Greek edition of The X Factor. He studied guitar, piano, and music theory at the national conservatory of Greece. He continued his studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, majoring in arrangement.
