Dorin Lazăr (born 23 January 1990) is a Romanian rugby union football player. He plays in the Lock position for amateur SuperLiga club Timișoara. He also plays for Romania's national team, the Oaks, making his international debut at the 2013 IRB Nations Cup in a match against the Russian Medvedi. Career Before joining Timișoara Saracens, Dorin Lazăr played for Steaua and București Wolves. Iași ( , , ; also known by other alternative names), also referred to mostly historically as Jassy ( , ), is the second largest city in Romania and the seat of Iași County. 2013 IRB Nations Cup
The 2013 IRB Nations Cup was the eighth edition of the international rugby union tournament, a competition created by the International Rugby Board. For the seventh time in a row, it was held in Bucharest, Romania. It was played between 8 June and 16 June and ran alongside the 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup in Georgia. All fixtures were played at the 5,000 capacity Stadionul Naţional de Rugby, the Home stadium for Hosts . Castres Olympique () is a French rugby union club located in the Occitanian city of Castres and is currently competing in the top level of the French league system. Founded in 1898, the club took its current name in 1906. They play at the Stade Pierre-Fabre, which is one of the smallest in Top 14 with a capacity of 12,500. The team wear blue and white kits. Mihăiță "Mihai" Lazăr (born 3 November 1986) is a Romanian rugby union player who plays as a prop for Liga Națională de Rugby club SCM Rugby Timișoara. He also played for the Romania national team, ''The Oaks''. Lazăr made his debut for Romania national team in 2008 against Czech Republic, in a 76-7 win. He played three matches at the 2011 Rugby World Cup, scoring a try against Scotland (24-34) and then collecting accolades in the pages of ''The New Zealand Herald'' newspaper. On 1 June 2013, he clinched his first ever title, winning the Top 14 final with Castres Olympique. He won his second Top 14 title in 2018. In 2019 he moved to the Pro D2 club Oyonnax, for which he played until the end of 2021.
