Doreen Tess Waddell (10 July 1965 – 1 March 2002), also known by her stage name Do'reen, was a singer who worked with Soul II Soul, The KLF, T-Funk, and the Phunklawds. Music career Soul II Soul Waddell sang lead vocals on Soul II Soul's "Feel Free" and "Happiness (Dub)", and backing vocals on other tracks, on the album ''Club Classics Vol. One''. KLF She sang backing vocals on the KLF's " Justified and Ancient (All Bound for Mu Mu Land)". D'Influence Her solo career included a collaboration with D'Influence on "Ain't Gonna Walk In Your Shadow No More". Death Waddell was killed on 1 March 2002 in Shoreham-By-Sea. Hove
Hove is a seaside resort and one of the two main parts of the city of Brighton and Hove, along with Brighton in East Sussex, England. Originally a "small but ancient fishing village" surrounded by open farmland, it grew rapidly in the 19th century in response to the development of its eastern neighbour Brighton, and by the Victorian era it was a fully developed town with borough status. D'Influence
D'Influence (also D-Influence and D*Influence) is a British production team and acid jazz band. Formerly of The Echo Label, they founded their own label, Freakstreet Records. Original members include Kwame Kwaten, Sarah-Ann Webb, Ed Baden-Powell, and Steve Marston. Biography D'Influence emerged in 1990 from the UK club scene. The group went on to issue their debut album titled '' Good 4 We'' in August 1992. The album reached No. 7 on the ''Blues & Soul'' Top British Soul Albums chart. A27 Road
The A27 is a major road in England. It runs from its junction with the A36 at Whiteparish (near Salisbury) in the county of Wiltshire, follows the south coast of Hampshire and West Sussex, and terminates at Pevensey (near Eastbourne and Bexhill) in East Sussex. It is the westernmost road in Zone 2 in the UK road numbering system. Between Portsmouth and Lewes, it is one of the busiest trunk roads in the UK. "Justified & Ancient" is a song by British band The KLF. It was featured on their 1991 album, ''The White Room'', but its origins date back to the duo's debut album, ''1987 (What the Fuck Is Going On?)''. The song is best known for its remake that was released on 25 November 1991 as a pop-house single subtitled "Stand by The JAMs", with verses featuring the vocals of American country music singer Tammy Wynette. This version was an international hit, reaching number two on both the UK Singles Chart, and the US dance chart, number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and hitting number one in 18 countries.
