Freezepop is an American electronic band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States, formed in 1999 by Liz Enthusiasm, Sean T. Drinkwater, and The Duke of Pannekoeken (an alias for Kasson Crooker). Since December 2009, the current lineup includes Enthusiasm, Drinkwater, Robert John "Bananas" Foster, and Christmas Disco-Marie Sagan. The band is named after the ice pop, frozen snack, and they have described their music as "sweet and cold and fruity and plastic-y". Several of the band's songs have appeared in video games, including the Harmonix Music Systems, Harmonix titles ''Frequency (video game), Frequency'', ''Amplitude (2003 video game), Amplitude'', ''Karaoke Revolution'', ''Phase (video game), Phase'', the ''Guitar Hero'' series, the ''Rock Band'' series, and Neon FM. Synthpop
Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop; ) is a subgenre of new wave music that first became prominent in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument. It was prefigured in the 1960s and early 1970s by the use of synthesizers in progressive rock, electronic, art rock, disco, and particularly the Krautrock of bands like Kraftwerk. After signing up for the band's email newsletter, a link is sent to the subscriber email that gives access to the EP download. ''Imaginary Friends'' is the fourth studio album by Freezepop, released on December 7, 2010. History ''Imaginary Friends'' is the first Freezepop album to be released since the departure of The Duke of Pannekoeken and addition of Robert John "Bananas" Foster and Christmas Disco-Marie Sagan. The album went on pre-sale on November 26, 2010. People who preordered Imaginary Friends received an "Instant Gratification Pack." This pack included five tracks: two songs from Imaginary Friends, a remix of both those songs and a B-side. Additionally, the band posted the song "Magnetic" on their website for free. Shortly before the presale went active, the song was pulled and replaced with "Doppelgänger." "Magnetic" then became one of the two songs available in the Instant Gratification Pack. 1000 copies of the album were released as a limited edition double CD with autographs from the band and an extra disc called "Secret Companion." Liz Enthusiasm
Justinne "Jussi" Gamache, also known by her pseudonym Liz Enthusiasm, is the lead singer of indie synthpop band Freezepop. She lives in Massachusetts. Gamache also works in graphic design, and has done design work on Freezepop's website, albums, and their 2016 Kickstarter campaign. She has created several music videos for Freezepop using then- Macromedia's Flash program. Gamache writes the majority of her lyrics in English, but has also written songs in Japanese ("Tenisu no Boifurendo"), and French ("Parlez-Vous Freezepop?"). In 2004, Gamache and her best friend and fellow musician, Gordon Merrick, released an internet album titled ''Best Friends Forever'' containing six covers, one of a Freezepop song. Sean Miguel Thompson, better known by his stage name Sean T, is an American rapper and record producer from East Palo Alto, California. Throughout his career both as a rapper and a producer, he has released seven solo albums, two albums with his group Murder One Gangstas and has worked with some of California's top rappers, including E-40, C-Bo, and 3X Krazy. Biography Sean T started his career in 1989 as a DJ before becoming a member of the rap group M.O.G. (short for Murder One Gangstas). The group released their debut album ''Exposed to the Game'' in 1992. A year later, Sean T released his first solo album entitled '' Straight from the Streets''.
