Doo Wopper
Doo Wopper is a steel roller coaster on the Surfside Pier of Morey's Piers amusement park in New Jersey. The attraction appeared along with Rollies Coaster, The Storm, and Shark Bite, one of which is defunct. The Doo Wopper was relocated from the Adventure Pier to Surfside Pier where it replaced the RC-48. A S&S Screaming Swing took the Doo Wopper's former space on Adventure Pier. The Doo Wooper is a wild mouse type of roller coaster. This ride has undulating hills and is a modern version of a classic wild mouse coaster. Fun Pier
Fun Pier opened up as the Wildwood Convention Hall Pier in 1924 by being leased out by Holly Beach Realty. In 1957, Holly Beach Realty ended their contract with the Wildwood Convention Hall Pier and eventually rented the pier to Joe Barnes, who turned it into Fun Pier. When Barnes first started to rent the pier, he had to destroy the entrance of the Wildwood Convention Hall to accommodate enough room for new rides. The end of the Wildwood Convention Hall, which was an arcade and some shops, was later converted to a dark ride. Eventually by the mid 60's the building was torn down. RC-48
RC-48 was a steel roller coaster built by Pinfari. This ride is the only installation of the model ever produced, as Pinfari went bankrupt shortly after its release. The ride operated on Morey's Pier's Surfside Pier from 2000 until 2004. The RC-48 replaced the retired Jet Star attraction in 2000. The RC-48 was purchased by Wade Shows, Inc. Screamin' Swing is a pneumatically powered pendulum ride designed and manufactured by S&S - Sansei Technologies. The ride was first installed and operated in 2004 at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, United States.
