Doncho Atanasov
Doncho Atanasov ( bg, Дончо Атанасов; born on 2 April 1983) is a former Bulgarian footballer, who played as a left winger. Career Doncho Atanasov came from the youth system of Beroe Stara Zagora, and was called up to the first team squad for the 2001–02 season. On 9 February 2002, he made his A PFG debut as he replaced Krum Bibishkov in the 69th minute of their 0–2 home loss against Litex Lovech. He only made 11 appearances for Beroe's first team before moving to Armeets Sliven in June 2002. On 19 July 2014, Atanasov scored the only goal in Haskovo's 1:0 victory over reigning A PFG champions Ludogorets Razgrad to provide his team with a winning start in the new league season. Atanasov played for Botev Galabovo one season before being released in June 2017. On 1 September 2017, he announced his retirement as footballer. Stara Zagora ( bg, Стара Загора, ) is the sixth-largest city in Bulgaria, and the administrative capital of the homonymous Stara Zagora Province. Name The name comes from the Slavic root ''star'' ("old") and the name of the medieval region of Zagore ("beyond the alkanmountains" in Slavic) The original name was Beroe, which was changed to Ulpia Augusta Traiana by the Romans. From the 6th century the city was called Vereja and, from 784, Irenopolis (Greek: Ειρηνούπολις) in honour of the Byzantine empress Irene of Athens. 2013 Bulgarian Supercup
The 2013 Bulgarian Supercup was played on 10 July 2013 at Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia, between the winners of the previous season's A group and Bulgarian Cup competitions. The match was contested by the champions of the 2012–13 A PFG, Ludogorets Razgrad, and the 2013 Bulgarian Cup winners, Beroe Stara Zagora. This was the second Supercup final for both teams with Ludogorets winning their first one against Lokomotiv Plovdiv in 2012 and Beroe losing to Litex Lovech in 2010 after extra time. Beroe won their first ever Supercup after defeating Ludogorets on penalties. The Bulgarian Supercup ( bg, Суперкупа на България) is the trophy won in a football match held between the football club that has won the Bulgarian first football division in the season that ended in the year of the match and the holder of the Bulgarian Cup at that time. In case the champion of Bulgaria has also won the cup, the Bulgarian Cup finalist competes with the champion in the match for the trophy. The Supercup match is usually held during the weekend before the start of a new season. Since 2004 the Supercup game has been an annual event. 2012–13 Bulgarian Cup
The 2012–13 Bulgarian Cup was the 31st official season of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 13 October 2012 with the matches of the preliminary round and ended with the final on 15 May 2013. Ludogorets Razgrad were the defending champions, but were eliminated by CSKA Sofia in the second round. Beroe Stara Zagora won the title, their second overall, after defeating Levski Sofia in the final by penalties. The winners of the competition, Beroe Stara Zagora, qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League.
