Donan Cruz is an American men's college volleyball coach, who currently serves as the head coach of the men's volleyball team at Ball State University. He previously held the same position at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. Coaching career In his first year as head coach at Ball State, the Cardinals compiled a 23-4 record and were the second seed at the 2022 NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament. The Ball State Cardinals are the athletic teams that represent Ball State University, located in Muncie, Indiana. The Cardinals are part of the NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference. The Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) is a college athletic conference whose member schools compete in men's volleyball. The conference footprint is centered in the Midwestern United States, stretching from Missouri in the west to Ohio in the east; a North Carolina school will join in 2023. Many of the conference's schools also participate in the similarly named Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association in men's volleyball at the club level. Grand View University is a private liberal arts university in Des Moines, Iowa. The NCAA men's volleyball tournament, officially titled the NCAA National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship, is an annual competition that determines the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championship in American college men's volleyball. The 2022 NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament was the 51st edition of the NCAA Men's National Collegiate Volleyball Championship, an annual tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I and Division II men's collegiate indoor volleyball. The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and Rainbow Wāhine are the athletic teams that represent the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UH), in Honolulu, Hawaii.
