Donaldo Arza (born 15 August 1946) is a Panamanian middle-distance running, middle-distance runner. He competed in the Athletics at the 1972 Summer Olympics – Men's 800 metres, men's 800 metres at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Arza finished fourth in the 1500 metres at the 1971 Pan American Games. Donaldo González
Donaldo González Barañano (born 27 November 1971 in Santiago de Veraguas) is a retired Panamanian football goalkeeper. Club career González had a six-year spell in Honduras with Olimpia and Marathón, where he played alongside compatriot José Anthony Torres. Before moving abroad he played for Projusa de Veraguas, Bravos de Urracá and then local giants Tauro. International career González made his debut for Panama in a November 1996 friendly match against Costa Rica and has earned a total of 30 caps, scoring no goals. He represented his country in 10 FIFA World Cup qualification matches and was a member of the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup team, who finished second in the tournament. His final international was a September 2006 friendly match against Guatemala. Retirement After retiring in December 2007, González became goalkeeper coach of the national team. Donaldo Pereira Macedo (born 1950) is a Cape Verdean-American critical theorist, linguist, and expert on literacy, critical pedagogy and multicultural education studies. Until 2019 he was Distinguished Professor of Liberal Arts and Education at the University of Massachusetts Boston. He was also the founder of the Master of Arts Program in Applied Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Boston, and chaired the program until approximately 2012. He has published extensively in the areas of linguistics, critical literacy, and bilingual and multicultural education. His work in translating and editing works of Paulo Freire, his published dialogues with Freire, and his own research on Freire's pedagogy, have significantly contributed to the field of critical pedagogy. Donaldo Alfonso Méndez (born June 7, 1978) is a former professional baseball player. A shortstop, he played parts of two seasons in Major League Baseball for the San Diego Padres in 2001 and 2003. In a two-year career, Méndez was a .183 hitter with three home runs and 14 RBI in 72 games, but showed strong fielding skills. He finished his career playing for the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League in 2008. Donaldo "Dondon" Cabañes Hontiveros (born June 1, 1977) is a Filipino politician and former professional basketball player. He is a member of the Cebu City Council since June 30, 2022 and previously from 2019 to 2021. He was the Vice Mayor of Cebu City from November 2021 to June 2022, by virtue of succession due to the death of Mayor Edgardo Labella. He is also an assistant coach for the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), though he is on leave from the team due to his government duties.
