Donald Montrose
Donald William Montrose (May 13, 1923 – May 7, 2008) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as bishop of the Diocese of Stockton in California from 1986 to 1999. He previously served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles from 1983 to 1986. Biography Montrose was born on May 13, 1923, in Denver, Colorado. When he was eleven, his family moved to Southern California. Montrose was ordained by Cardinal James McIntyre as a priest for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on May 7, 1949. He served as head of St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, California. Auxiliary Bishop of Los Angeles Montrose was appointed on March 25, 1983, by Pope John Paul II as an auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and as titular bishop of Forum Novum. Stephen Edward Blaire (December 22, 1941 – June 18, 2019) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was the fifth Bishop of Stockton from March 16, 1999, until January 23, 2018. Biography Early life Stephen Edward Blaire was born in Los Angeles, California, as the twelfth of fourteen children. Roger Mahony
Roger Michael Mahony (born February 27, 1936) is an American cardinal and retired prelate of the Catholic Church who served as Archbishop of Los Angeles from 1985 to 2011. Before his appointment, he served as Auxiliary Bishop of Fresno from 1975 to 1980 and Bishop of Stockton from 1980 to 1985. Born in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles and raised in the city's San Fernando Valley, Mahony was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Monterey-Fresno in 1962.
