Don Roberts (art Director)
Don Roberts (November 16, 1934 – January 10, 1999) was an American television art director and production designer. He worked on Norman Lear's sitcoms, including, ''All in the Family'', ''The Jeffersons'', ''Good Times'', '' One Day at a Time'', ''Archie Bunker's Place'' and ''Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman''. He also worked on ''Three's Company'' and its spin-offs ''The Ropers'' and ''Three's a Crowd''. He was involved in the development of at least 46 television programs. Roberts started his career directing musicals for the Santa Monica Civic Light Opera. He also worked on ''The Price Is Right'' for 247 episodes from (1972–1973). His other credits include, '' Who's the Boss?'', ''Diff'rent Strokes'', ''227'', '' Married... with Children'', ''Gimme a Break!'' and ''The Famous Teddy Z''. The Price Is Right (American Game Show)
''The Price Is Right'' is an American television game show created by Bob Stewart, Mark Goodson and Bill Todman where contestants compete by guessing the prices of merchandise to win cash and prizes. Contestants are selected from the studio audience as the announcer calls their names and invokes the show's famous catchphrase, "Come on down!" The program premiered on September 4, 1972, on CBS. Bob Barker was the series' longest-running host from its 1972 debut until his retirement in June 2007, when Drew Carey took over. Barker was accompanied by a series of announcers, beginning with Johnny Olson, followed by Rod Roddy and Rich Fields. In April 2011, George Gray became the announcer. The Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) is a charitable organization that offers assistance and care to those in the motion picture and television industries and their families with limited or no resources, including services such as temporary financial assistance, case management, and residential living. Origin During the 1930s, the untimely deaths of several former Hollywood stars who ended up destitute shook the community. These included Roscoe ("Fatty") Arbuckle, John Bowers, Karl Dane, Florence Lawrence, Marie Prevost and Lou Tellegen. A brain tumor occurs when abnormal cells form within the brain. There are two main types of tumors: malignant tumors and benign (non-cancerous) tumors. These can be further classified as primary tumors, which start within the brain, and secondary tumors, which most commonly have spread from tumors located outside the brain, known as brain metastasis tumors.
