Dominó
Dominó was a Brazilian boy band created by television presenter Gugu Liberato. They were most popular in the 1980s and late 1990s. The band sold about 6 million copies in Brazil in the 1980s. The original lineup was Afonso Nigro, Nill, Marcos Quintela and Marcelo Rodrigues. The band's biggest hits were "Ela Não Gosta de Mim," "Companheiro", "'P. da Vida", "Manequim" and "Com Todos Menos Comigo." Between 1992 and 1995, the actor and television presenter Rodrigo Faro was part of the group. With the lineup of Rodrigo Phavanello, Rodriguinho, Cristiano Garcia and Eber Albêncio, the band achieved national fame in 1997 with the song " Baila, Baila Comigo", which became a great commercial success and sold over three million copies in Brazil. Gugu Liberato
Antônio Augusto de Moraes Liberato (April 10, 1959 – November 21, 2019), better known as Gugu Liberato or simply Gugu, was a Brazilian television presenter, entrepreneur, actor and singer. Early life Liberato was born in São Paulo, Brazil, the son of Portuguese immigrants. He used to write letters to Silvio Santos (who later hired him) suggesting ideas for programs. He started on television at age 14 as program production assistant on Domingo no Parque (Sunday at the Park), presented by Silvio Santos on SBT. He is regarded as one of the most famous entertainers in the history of Brazilian television, standing next to names like Fausto Silva, Silvio Santos, Hebe Camargo and Xuxa Meneghel. Rodrigo Faro
Rodrigo Alcazar Faro (born 20 October 1973) is a Brazilian television presenter, actor and singer. Career He started his career at the age of 9 in 1982 when he participated in a milk commercial. As a child he was a model and presenter of the children's program ZYB Bom on TV Bandeirantes. At 19, he integrated the boyband Dominó, before graduating in radio and TV by the University of São Paulo. In 1996 he starred his first telenovela, ''Antônio Alves, Taxista'', on SBT. In 2008, he moved to RecordTV to present '' Ídolos''. However, before making his debut in the musical reality, he was called to quickly replace presenter Márcio Garcia in ''O Melhor do Brasil''. Polegar was a Brazilian boy band launched in 1989 by the media company Promoart, which is owned by Gugu Liberato. History Consisting of four members, Polegar was most prominent in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They set attendance records in various cities in Brazil and other South American countries. They released their eponymous debut album in 1989, and their song "Dá Pra Mim" earned the group their first gold and platinum certifications with more than 500,000 copies sold. The records "Ando Falando Sozinho" and "Sou Como Sou" were very successful. In 1990, they released their second album ''Ela Não Liga'', which earned the group another gold and platinum certification with more than 250,000 copies sold. Marcos Chaib Mion (born June 20, 1979 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian TV host, actor, voice actor, author and businessman (Partner of V.Rom). Mion studied Philosophy at Universidade de São Paulo, and later graduated in Communication and Body Arts at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
