Dominique Van Dijk
Dominique van Dijk (born 5 September 1979) is a Dutch retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Groningen, Van Dijk came through the youth system of amateur side LTC Assen. He was picked up by FC Groningen at age 12, and made his first-team debut on 17 October 1998 against VVV-Venlo in the second division. He was signed by Cambuur Leeuwarden in summer 2001, making his debut in a 1–1 draw against HFC Haarlem in the Eerste Divisie on 17 August 2001. He signed for Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk in May 2005. He made his debut in a 2–1 win against his former club FC Groningen. He signed for Sparta Rotterdam in the 2006 transfer window. He eventually made his debut in a 1–2 defeat to Vitesse Arnhem on 18 August 2006. Van Dijk played 15 league matches for Sparta. He finished the 2006–07 season with 15 league appearances and 1 goal. 2006–07 Eredivisie
The 2006–07 Eredivisie season began on August 18, 2006. The season saw PSV Eindhoven quickly building a gap with the other teams. After 20 matches, the club was 11 points ahead of AZ and 12 points ahead of Ajax. The lead quickly dissipated in the 13 matches that followed. A draw of PSV at FC Utrecht in the penultimate round saw AZ and Ajax catching up. The three clubs were all on 72 points from 33 matches, with the AZ on top due to goal difference. Gregoor van Dijk (born 16 November 1981) is a Dutch retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Groningen, Van Dijk played for FC Groningen (1998–2000) and Roda JC (2000–2006) before moving to FC Utrecht in the summer of 2006. He signed in July 2010 for Cypriot club AEK Larnaca. A tough-tackling midfielder, Van Dijk received a record 7th red card when skippering Utrecht against De Graafschap in April 2008. His record was equaled by SC Heerenveen midfielder Joey van den Berg in March 2016. Now he is coach of Initiates of MTBA in Portugal and Padbol player and promoter.
