Dominique Sutton
Dominique Leondres Sutton (born October 20, 1986) is an American basketball player for Pelita Jaya of the Indonesian Basketball League. Sutton played college basketball for Kansas State University and North Carolina Central University. High school career As a freshman and sophomore, Sutton attended Charles E. Jordan High School, Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina. As a sophomore in 2004–05, he averaged 19.7 points per game as he guided the Falcons to a 19–8 record and the 4-A Western Regional semi-finals. He subsequently earned Associated Press second-team all-state honors and was named the Durham Sun-Herald and PAC-6 4-A Player of the Year. In 2005, Sutton transferred to The Patterson School in Lenoir, North Carolina where he played for coach Chris Chaney as a junior and senior. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose full members are historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the Southeastern and the Mid-Atlantic United States.
