Dominique Diezi
Dominique Lorraine Diezi (born 14 July 1977) is a Swiss former swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle events. She is a two-time Olympian (1996 and 2004), a 32-time Swiss national champion, a multiple-time record holder in sprint freestyle (50 and 100 m), and a member of Switzerland's national swimming team (1992–2004). She also earned multiple All-American honors while studying in the United States. Diezi made her first Swiss team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where she finished thirty-second overall in the 50 m freestyle. She edged out Panama's Eileen Coparropa to lead the third heat by a tenth of a second (0.10) in 26.57. As a member of the Swiss relay team, she also placed seventeenth in the 4×100 m freestyle (3:53.30), and sixteenth in the 4×200 m freestyle (8:21.55). Sara Isaković
Sara Isaković (born 9 June 1988) is a retired Slovenian swimmer. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, aged 20, she placed 2nd in the 200 m freestyle with the time of 1:54.97, becoming the second woman ever (behind Federica Pellegrini) to break the 1 min 55 sec mark. It is still, to this day, the only swimming Olympic medal won for Slovenia. Isaković competed for Slovenia at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Since its inception in 1898, the Yale Bulldogs swimming and diving program has produced numerous champion athletes. Many Yale swimmers have gone on to earn All-American honors and even break world records. The team has won 4 NCAA championships, 30 EISL championships, and several AAU championships. Under legendary coach Robert J. H. Kiphuth, the Yale men swam to a record of 528 wins and 12 losses. As of February 2009, the men's program has a record of 1063 wins and 210 losses over 112 years. The SMU Mustangs are the athletic teams that represent Southern Methodist University in University Park, Texas, United States.
