Dominique Borella
Dominique Borella, was a French soldier and mercenary. Having fought in Indochina during the First Indochina War, he then fought in the Algerian War, the Cambodian Civil War and the Lebanese Civil War. History At the age of 18, Borella volunteered to serve in the French Far East Expeditionary Corps in Indochina. He saw action at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu and became one of the youngest recipients of the Médaille militaire. He left Indochina as a Sous-officier in 1956. Borella next saw combat in French Algeria, where he was a Captain in the 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment. He later joined the Organisation armée secrète (OAS) and went underground. By 1974 he was a Captain in the Khmer National Armed Forces establishing and then commanding the 1ère Brigade Parachutiste Cambodgienne (1st Cambodian Parachute Brigade or 1 BPC). 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment
The 2nd Foreign Parachute Regiment (french: 2e Régiment étranger de parachutistes, 2e REP) is the only airborne regiment of the Foreign Legion in the French Army. It is one of the four infantry regiments of the 11th Parachute Brigade and part of the spearhead of the French rapid reaction force. Since the regiment's arrival from Algeria in 1967, it has been stationed at Camp Raffalli near the town of Calvi on the island of Corsica, south of mainland France. The regiment is also equipped with Véhicule de l'Avant Blindé (VAB). The Kataeb Party ( ar, حزب الكتائب اللبنانية '), also known in English as the Phalanges, is a Christian political party in Lebanon. The party played a major role in the Lebanese Civil War (1975–1990). Khmer Rouge
The Khmer Rouge (; ; km, ខ្មែរក្រហម, ; ) is the name that was popularly given to members of the Communist Party of Kampuchea (CPK) and by extension to the regime through which the CPK ruled Cambodia between 1975 and 1979. The name was coined in the 1960s by then Chief of State Norodom Sihanouk to describe his country's heterogeneous, communist-led dissidents, with whom he allied after his 1970 overthrow. The ''Organisation Armée Secrète'' (OAS, "Secret Armed Organisation") was a far-right French dissident paramilitary organisation during the Algerian War.
