Dominique Barber
Dominique J. Barber (born August 2, 1986) is a former American football safety. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Minnesota. He is the son of former NFL running back Marion Barber, Jr., younger brother of former NFL running back Marion Barber III and older brother of Minnesota Golden Gophers linebacker Thomas Barber. His cousin is Peyton Barber who plays running back and played college football at Auburn. Early years A 2004 graduate of Wayzata High School. Rivals.com ranked Barber as the 42nd-best player at his position in 2003. He was selected for the SuperPrep Midwest Team and ranked as the 58th-best player. Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. Peyton Barber
Kenneth Peyton Barber (born June 27, 1994) is an American football running back who is a free agent. He played college football for the Auburn Tigers and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2016. Barber has also played for the Washington Football Team and Las Vegas Raiders. Early years Barber attended Milton High School in Milton, Georgia. In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from a friendly quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. Rushing is an action taken by the offense that means to advance the ball by running with it, as opposed to passing, or kicking. An athletic conference is a collection of sports teams, playing competitively against each other in a sports league. In many cases conferences are subdivided into smaller divisions, with the best teams competing at successively higher levels. Conferences often, but not always, include teams from a common geographic region. Australian rules football The AFL Women's competition used a non-geographic conference system in 2019 and 2020. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage.
