Dominique Archie
Dominique Archie (born August 19, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Élan Béarnais Pau-Orthez for the French Pro A. He played college basketball for the University of South Carolina before playing professionally in the D-League and later in Romania, Italy, Belgium and Israel. Early life and college career Archie attended T. W. Josey High School in Augusta, Georgia. He played college basketball for the South Carolina Gamecocks. As a freshman in college, Archie was named to the All-Freshman Team of the Southeastern Conference. In his junior year, Archie was named to the All-SEC Second Team and also to the SEC All-Defensive team. Professional career On November 1, 2010, Archie was selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2010 NBA D-League by the Austin Toros. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. 2018–19 FIBA Europe Cup Play-offs
The 2018–19 FIBA Europe Cup play-offs will begin on 6 March and conclude on 24 April and 1 May 2019 with the 2019 FIBA Europe Cup Finals, to decide the champions of the 2018–19 FIBA Europe Cup. S.S.P. Reyer Venezia Mestre, commonly known as Reyer Venezia or simply Reyer, is an Italian professional basketball club that is based in Venice, Veneto. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. Serie A is organised by Lega Basket, which is regulated by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). It is the highest-tier level of the Italian league system. Serie A2, known for sponsorship reasons as Serie A2 Old Wild West, is a men's basketball league in Italy. It constitutes the second-tier of the Italian league pyramid, below the first division LBA and above the third division Serie B, with promotion/relegation occurring between these leagues. It is run by the Lega Nazionale Pallacanestro (LNP), itself regulated by the FIP, the Italian federation. CSU Ploieşti was a Romanian professional basketball club, based in Ploiești, Romania. The club competed in the Liga Națională, and was the most successful club of the 21st century, winning ten consecutive championships between 2004–2010 and 2012-2014 as well as six Romanian cups. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The league started with eight teams until NBA commissioner David Stern announced a plan to expand the NBA D-League to 15 teams and develop it into a true minor league farm team, farm system, with each NBA D-League team affiliated with one or more NBA teams in March 2005.
