Dominici was a progressive metal band formed in 2005 by former Dream Theater vocalist Charlie Dominici. History The band's only released work to date is the ''O3 Trilogy'', a series of three concept albums about the story of a terrorist sleeper cell coming to the United States and falling in love with the country. Dominici was an opening-act for three Dream Theater "Systematic Chaos#Tour, Chaos in Motion Tour" concerts that were held in Croatia, Hungary, and Austria. In 2011 Charlie Dominici stated on his Facebook account that Dominici the band was returning to strength, but he also mentioned in the comments of the post that if people wanted to see them live or releasing another CD, then fans should spread the word about them, saying "hardly anyone knows about us". Charlie Dominici
Charlie Dominici (born June 16, 1951) is an American singer best known as the second vocalist for the progressive metal band Dream Theater, having replaced Chris Collins (while the band was called Majesty) and later being replaced by James LaBrie. Most recently, Dominici has fronted his own self-named progressive metal band, who have released three albums. Biography Charlie Dominici was born in Brooklyn, New York, and soon after moved with his family to the Five Towns region in Nassau County, Long Island. Professionally, he came into prominence as a member of Franke and the Knockouts, in which he played guitar and sang backing vocals. He auditioned for Dream Theater in 1987 and was hired for the job in November of that year. Dominici performed on the band's debut album, 1989's ''When Dream and Day Unite''. The Dominici affair was the criminal investigation into the murder of three Britons in France. During the night of 4/5 August 1952, Sir Jack Drummond, a 61-year-old scientist; his 44-year-old wife Anne (née Wilbraham); and their 10-year-old daughter Elizabeth were murdered next to their car, a green Hillman, with registration ''NNK 686'' which was parked in a lay-by near ''La Grand'Terre'', the farm belonging to the Dominici family, located near the village of Lurs in the département of Basses-Alpes (now Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). Gaston Dominici was convicted of the three murders in 1957 and sentenced to death. In 1957, President René Coty commuted the sentence to life imprisonment, and on 14 July 1960, President Charles de Gaulle ordered Dominici's release on humanitarian grounds due to his poor health. Jean Gabin (; 17 May 190415 November 1976) was a French actor and singer. Michel Serrault (24 January 1928 – 29 July 2007) was a French stage and film actor who appeared from 1954 until 2007 in more than 130 films. Life and career His first professional job was in a touring production in Germany of Molière's ''Les Fourberies de Scapin''. In 1948, he began his career in the theatre with Robert Dhéry in '' Les Branquignols''. His first film was ''Ah! Les belles bacchantes'', starring Robert Dhéry, Colette Brosset (Dhéry's then-wife), and Louis de Funès; directed by Jean Loubignac in 1954. Serrault played in the 1955 suspense thriller '' Les diaboliques'', starring Simone Signoret and directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot. From February 1973 through 1978, he portrayed the role of Albin/Zaza opposite Jean Poiret in the play '' La cage aux folles'', written by Poiret. Dominici is a Impact crater, crater on Mercury (planet), Mercury. Dominici's bright rays indicate that it is relatively young, and the young rays appear light blue in enhanced-color images. Dominici also has bright material on its floor and is surrounded by crater ejecta and material that appears orange in enhanced color. These color differences, as in nearby Titian (crater), Titian crater, suggest that the impact crater excavated material from beneath Mercury's surface that differs in composition from the surrounding surface.
